Digital Marketers Conference 2025: A New Standard for Marketing Dialogue in Ghana

The inaugural Digital Marketers Conference 2025 took place at the Google AI Community Centre in Accra on Friday, November 28th. The event brought together students, agency leaders, SME owners, educators, analysts, and young marketers for a full day of discussion on how marketing is shifting in an AI-led landscape.
The conference was convened by Denalis Digital and the Marketers and Advertisers Network. SydCrest Launchpad joined as a founding sponsor, and other partners, including Generation Ghana, GoMobile Advertising, egoTickets, and DigiClan Africa.
The event aimed to give marketers a space to learn, compare experiences, and build a community grounded in shared values and practical skills.
Setting the Tone: “Rethink the Work”

The day opened with remarks from Alice Mensah, who framed the conference as a needed reset for the industry. She spoke about the gap between theory and practice and encouraged participants to examine the systems behind their marketing decisions.
Her message prepared the room for the keynote session.
Keynote Address: Stephen Naasei Boadi Calls for Clarity and Intent

The keynote speaker, Stephen Naasei Boadi, delivered a direct message about the need for marketers to adopt clear thinking and strong positioning. He urged teams to identify their niche markets, build trust, and use AI as an assistant rather than a replacement.
He challenged participants to adopt structured processes and data discipline. The session set a strong foundation for the discussions that followed.
Panel 1: AI in Marketing
The first panel explored how AI is reshaping daily marketing tasks. Speakers described practical applications such as content generation workflows, customer journey modeling, and quick experiments for campaign refinement.
Key insight: AI is most effective when teams understand their own goals. The panel pushed marketers to take ownership of their strategy and use AI to support execution.
Panel 2: Data-Driven Marketing
Moderated by Alice Mensah, this session focused on how teams can use analytics to drive financial results. Speakers highlighted the rise of customer-level data, real-time reporting, and simple frameworks for measuring impact.
They stressed that data should guide resource allocation and reduce waste. The discussion was built on case examples from Ghanaian agencies and SMEs.
Panel 3: SME and Startup Growth
This panel addressed the marketing needs of small businesses. Speakers explained how SMEs can use low-cost tools to manage campaigns, test offers, and build communities.
A recurring theme was the need for disciplined budgets and simple funnels that match the realities of small teams.
Breakout Sessions: Hands-On Learning

Participants joined four concurrent sessions on:
- Product Marketing
- Budget Management
- Influencer Marketing
- Presenting Case Studies
These sessions were led by industry practitioners and focused on practical steps that marketers can apply without heavy resources.
The follow-up learning exchange allowed groups to share notes and compare approaches.
Partner Messages: Building an Industry Together
Sponsoring organizations used their partner message slots to speak about why the conference matters.
SydCrest Launchpad highlighted the need for industry-aligned learning pathways and their commitment to developing young African marketers and creators. Their message focused on practical skills, mentorship, and the importance of community in building the next generation of talent.
Other partners spoke about jobs, capacity building, digital tools, and the importance of structured collaboration across agencies and training institutions.
Networking and Community Building
Two networking blocks created space for participants to meet speakers, ask questions, and explore possible collaborations.
Attendees described the sessions as meaningful and well-paced, with many noting that the conference filled a long-standing gap in Ghana’s marketing ecosystem.
Closing Reflections: A New Starting Point

The day closed with reflections from the organizers and a call for continuous learning. Participants were encouraged to join the Marketers and Advertisers Network and contribute to a stronger, more organised community.
The message was clear: the conference is not an isolated event. It marks the start of a new cycle of collaboration and shared knowledge.
Why This Conference Matters
The inaugural Digital Marketers Conference delivered three key messages:
- The discipline of marketing is changing, and the industry must adapt.
- AI and analytics are now core skills, not optional tools.
- Community is essential, and Ghana’s marketers are ready to build one.
SydCrest Launchpad’s involvement reinforced the need to link learning institutions with industry practice. Their work with digital talent and creators positions them as an important contributor to the future of marketing capacity in Ghana.
The organizers have already begun gathering feedback for next year’s edition.
